  1. You need 2 liters of Milk.
  2. You need 0.5 cup of raisins.
  3. Prepare 2 tbsp of milkmaid or mithai mate.
  4. It's 1 tbsp of rice.

  1. Take the milk in a heavy bottom pan on medium flame and let it come to a boil. Keep stirring the milk in between. Always keep a ladle in the pan to prevent overflowing of milk..
  2. Add in the rice and cook on medium flame until the milk becomes thick and is reduced to half. This will take around 40 minutes..
  3. Remove from heat and add in the milkmaid..
  4. Stir well and let this kheer cool down a bit. Once the kheer is cool you can add the raisins. You can also add in other dryfruits of your choice..
  5. Enjoy this chilled or warm!.
