  1. You need 15 of tomatillos.
  2. You need 2 of Anaheim chiles.
  3. It's 1 of jalepeño chiles.
  4. It's 1/2 of pasilla chile.

  7. You need 1 bunch of cilantro.

Chile Verde sauce step by step

  1. Take off husks of tomatillos. Roughly cut onion and carrot. Take off stems of chiles.
  2. Boil tomatillos, all chiles, onion, garlic and carrot in stock pot for about 20 minutes.
  3. Using slotted spoon, scoop all boiled ingredients into blender. Also, add cilantro to blender. Blend on high carefully. Steam can cause an exposion in blender. I leave mine vented a bit and cover with a towel and slight pressure. Salt to taste.
  4. Enjoy with shredded chicken, as a salsa, or use in enchiladas.
