Ingredients of Chile Verde sauce
- You need 15 of tomatillos.
- You need 2 of Anaheim chiles.
- It's 1 of jalepeño chiles.
- It's 1/2 of pasilla chile.
- You need 1/2 of Onion.
- Prepare 1 clove of garlic.
- You need 1 bunch of cilantro.
- You need 1 small of carrot.
- It's of salt.
Chile Verde sauce step by step
- Take off husks of tomatillos. Roughly cut onion and carrot. Take off stems of chiles.
- Boil tomatillos, all chiles, onion, garlic and carrot in stock pot for about 20 minutes.
- Using slotted spoon, scoop all boiled ingredients into blender. Also, add cilantro to blender. Blend on high carefully. Steam can cause an exposion in blender. I leave mine vented a bit and cover with a towel and slight pressure. Salt to taste.
